The class schedule and frequency for the soccer classes are as follows:

On Saturdays, there are two classes available. The first class is scheduled in the early morning and is specifically designed for children aged 18-24 months. The second class takes place later in the morning and is intended for children aged 2-4 years.

Similarly, on Sundays, the same schedule is followed, with two classes available. The first class is held in the early morning for children aged 18-24 months, and the second class is conducted later in the morning for children aged 2-4 years.

This schedule allows parents to choose the most suitable time slot for their child’s age group. All classes are held on weekends to provide flexibility and accommodate different schedules.

The classes are held outdoors at Blanchard Park in Orlando. The setting provides a spacious and grassy environment for children to engage in physical activity and learn soccer.

Here are some clothing and footwear suggestions:

  1. Clothing: Encourage your child to wear comfortable and breathable sportswear, such as t-shirts, shorts, or athletic pants.
  2. Footwear: Proper footwear is essential for soccer activities. Your child should wear athletic shoes or soccer cleats that provide good traction on grass surfaces. However, if they don’t have cleats, athletic shoes are fine.
  3. Accessories: It’s advisable to have your child wear shin guards to protect their shins during soccer activities. Additionally, it’s a good idea to bring a water bottle to keep them hydrated throughout the class.

Ensuring that your child is appropriately dressed will help them enjoy the classes comfortably and safely while actively participating in the soccer activities.

The coach-to-child ratio is maintained at one coach for every eight participants. This ratio ensures that each child receives adequate attention and guidance from the coach during the session. With a smaller group size, the coach can provide personalized instruction, monitor individual progress, and address the specific needs of each child effectively.

During the soccer classes, several safety measures are implemented to prioritize the well-being of all participants. Here are some common safety measures that may be in place:

  • Qualified Instructors: The classes are likely led by qualified soccer instructors who have experience working with kids. These instructors are trained to create a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring that the activities are appropriate for the age group and skill level of the participants.
  • Supervision: The classes are supervised by the coaches who oversee the sessions to ensure that all participants are safe and engaged in the activities. They monitor the children’s actions, promote fair play, and address any safety concerns that may arise.
  • First Aid: In case of any minor injuries or accidents, there is typically a first aid kit available on-site. Trained staff members or coaches are prepared to administer basic first aid, such as cleaning wounds or applying bandages.
  • Equipment and Facility Safety: The soccer classes ensure that the equipment and facilities used are in good condition and suitable for the activities. This includes inspecting the soccer balls, cones, goalposts, and any other equipment to ensure they are safe to use. The playing area is also assessed for potential hazards or obstacles that may pose risks to the participants.
  • Weather Considerations: Outdoor classes are mindful of weather conditions to ensure the safety of the children. In case of extreme weather, such as lightning storms or excessive heat, classes may be rescheduled or modified to safeguard the participants.

Yes, parents are encouraged to stay and watch their kids during the soccer classes. It provides an opportunity for parents to witness their child’s progress, offer support, and enjoy the experience together. It’s recommended to bring a lawn chair to ensure comfortable seating while watching the classes. Additionally, bringing a water bottle is advised to stay hydrated throughout the session. Your presence as a parent not only allows you to witness your child’s soccer journey but also helps create a supportive and encouraging environment for their participation.
